Return to work coordination
WSIB recognise that not all organisations have the in-house capability or expertise to manage workplace injuries. This is why we offer ongoing injury management services to ensure that your employees return to work as quickly and as safely as possible.
WSIB have a specialist team of highly skilled and experienced RTW Coordinators who will use a multidisciplinary approach to RTW and do so in a cost efficient manner, whilst ensuring the Employee’s welfare or company best practice and culture.
To ensure both Client and Employee have consistent and positive experience, each Employee will have a dedicated RTW Coordinator who will:
1 | Liaise with all parties including Employee, Employer, Doctor, Insurer/Claims Agent |
2 | Develop RTW plans |
3 | Communicate and negotiate suitable duties with treating Doctor and Health Professionals and arrange and attend case conferences where necessary. |
4 | Work very closely with WSIB Claims specialists where claims are more complex and require high level strategic direction. |
For high level claims that require occupational rehabilitation, WSIB can either work closely with your nominated provider or utilise one of our own strategic partners who have been carefully selected and appointed to our panel of preferred providers.
